Accomplishments

For over 25 years Specialty Diving and its sister company, Specialty Offshore have performed thousands of repair, installation and maintenance services for a diverse clientele throughout the United States and international waters. To its credit, its marine crews and managers, commercial divers and technicians have made the plants where we work and the bridges we travel that much safer for daily living. Safety for its employees and the public at-large will always remain at the heart of every project. Specialty Diving of Louisiana and Specialty Offshore are proud of its numerous achievements and equally proud knowing it has made everyone's life a little better. In many areas it has been a pioneer and leader in underwater technology and innovation and is pleased to share some of those accomplishments for recognized safety and outstanding service. Led the Federal Bridge Inspection program working with the Mississippi DOT and federal legislators Developed innovative work in internal pipeline penetrations, repair and inspection Designed and implemented the complete underwater survey process for the USCG's Alternate Hull Examination program Developed applied R.O.V. technology, allowing clients to view their work on-site Awarded U.S. Army Corps of Engineers "Safe Sub-Contractor of the Year Award" (2002) Selected prime contractor for Army Corps of Engineers servicing all of Louisiana Performed exemplary work in times of crisis for Amerada Hess during Katrina and British Petroleum for the Oil Spill Recovery Program in the Gulf
